Butterfly sp. at the Georgetown caravan park
Several large reddish-brown butterfly species were noted at Royal National Park with the one below being the commoner of the two seen.
This large brightly coloured and hugely impressive butterfly was seen several places in north Queensland with this one at Cassowary House
This mean looking Robber type fly was found along the trails at Mission Beach. It's actual size is about half that shown here and it could be heard coming metres away as it's wings made such a loud buzzing noise.
