A good run of birds finally after some dismal weather. The long weekend of the 5th-7th May produce a two SOG tick day in the form of Glossy Ibis and Great White Egret at Bowers Marsh as well a some fine Hobbies there also. Wat Tyler Country Park hosted the Ibis also and a drake Garganey with a nice immature male Marsh Harrier and some Bearded Tits.
Over the garden on the 7th was a 'flock' of three Buzzards and the Nightingale on Two Tree Island showed well in his Apple Tree. Let the good birding continue.
