2nd-winter - Nimmo's Pier
1st-winter - Rossaveal bird 1
1st-winter - Rossaveal bird 2
1st-winter - Rossaveal bird 3
Surprisingly only a few Glaucous Gull were seen during the trip, a total of four; a second-winter at Nimmo's Pier daily and three different first-winter birds at Rossaveal Docks. Light again was a factor in how crisp the images ended up being.
This second-winter, at Nimmo's Pier, was a large bulky bird, near to the size of a Great Black-backed Gull.
Rossaveal held three different Glaucous Gulls which included a very large, white, huge billed bird. All three individual are below:
Bird 1:
Bird 2: low light hampered attempts at getting crisp images as ISO's had top be pushed up.
Bird 3: low light hampered attempts at getting crisp images as ISO's had top be pushed up.
