House Martin, Porthlow Beach, St. Mary's Isles of Scilly May 2010

Swallow, Porth Hellick Pool, St. Mary's Isles of Scilly May 2010
Many thousands of Swallows were 'grounded' by the persistent North Easterlies with concentrations at numerous locations around the islands; these birds showed very well right in front of the hide at Porth Hellick where they were clearly knackered.
