Water Pipit, St Agnes, Isles of Scilly - October 2008
A Scillies tick this bird and what a cracker it is too. It was photographed shortly after the Olive-backed Pipit on St. Agnes at Porth Killier Beach. It was mobile ranging the length of the beach but it could often show very well indeed.
Blyth's Pipit, Old Grimsby, Tresco
One of the highlights was this sometimes showy, sometimes no Blyths Pipit next to the school on Tresco. I didn't give it much time photography wise thus my pics are not the best of the bird. For more of this bird click here
Rock Pipit, Wallsea Island Wetlands, Essex, March 2008
Compare with the Water Pipit above
Olive-backed Pipit, St. Agnes, Isles of Scilly - October 2008
As can be the case with Scilly many birds can perform at only a few metres range totally ignoring everyone around them, this OBP did exactly that when it bathed in a puddle just a few metres from 50birders. Excellent. Click here for more pictures of this bird.
Red-throated Pipit, Porth Coose, St. Agnes, Scilly May 2009

Grey Wagtail, Porth Hellick Pool, St. Mary's
Several showy birds from the Seaward Hide at Porth Hellick though the low light was a challenge
White Wagtail, Porth Hellick Pool, St. Mary's
Not as confiding as the one that was here last year but still in the same place near the Seaward Hide.
Putative Ashy-headed Wagtail, Porth Hellick Pool, St. Mary's

Yellow Wagtail, Wakering Common, Essex 1st May 2011
Citrine Wagtail, Fair Isle, September 2011
This fine juvenile remained faithful to the same fields at Barkland and the garden of Chalet during our stay. For more images of this bird click here
Olive-backed Pipit, Watermill Lane, St. Mary's
Two were present together in a weedy field along Watermill Lane where they would often stay very close together. More of this and the other bird here.
Red-throated Pipit, Golf Course, St. Mary's
One of two birds that were present on the golf course with the other, a very unremarkable, Tree Pipit like but educational bird, that I initially found. This is certainly the better and more well marked of the two. More here.
