Great Tit, Two Tree Island East, Essex 12th March 2011

Red-backed Shrike - Vange, Essex 11th June 2011
This female is now the second to occur at Vange Marsh in the past two years and remarkably it favoured the very same bushes as the juvenile that was here last year. As with that bird this individual was mobile and often difficult to pin down so these images are the best I could get of it. More of this bird can be seen here.

Great Grey Shrike, Fair Isle, 24th September 2011
Only seen on the 24th this bird ranged widely around the island and was often tricky for other birders to catch up with. As it was wide ranging I was unable to get close to get any decent images.
