During the summer months many Starlings came to the garden, with many juveniles, so I attempted to pout the 1D MkIII to the test to see if I could get any flight shots. A little practice and I think they will all be pin sharp.

A rather elusive and unapproachable bird, was generally on it's own and not with the starling flock present. North Light on a windy day is not a great place to be especially if the only draw is a juvvie Rosy Starling. More of this bird here
