This bird behind the pub in Old Town was unfortunately always against the sun and on the far side the field.

During the summer months many Starlings came to the garden, with many juveniles, so I attempted to pout the 1D MkIII to the test to see if I could get any flight shots. A little practice and I think they will all be pin sharp.

Scilly has got to be one of the best places in the UK to get up close views of these birds, this one, along with a second bird, was on the the Airfield by the windsock.
