Red-necked Grebe, Paglesham Lagoon, Essex 5th September 2010

A good year for scarce grebes locally, this stunning well marked juvenile was extremely interested in my pishing attempts, it came to within 15feet of the lagoon embankment. First time I've 'pished in a grebe'.
