This is the same bird that was seen at Hole Haven Creek in November 2008 as identified by the right leg limp. More pictures of this bird, now my third local adult Ring-billed Gull in 2 weeks here.

Common Gull, juvenile moulting to 1st-winter, Essex 27th February 2010
This Common Gull is unusually nearly still in complete juvenile plumage by the end of February. There are a few mantle and scapular feathers that have been replaced by second generation grey as well as a single inner greater covert. A strikingly pale headed contrasting individual.
