Spoonbill, Vange Wick, Essex 31st January 2010
The bird flew onto Vange Wick where it landed briefly before touring Vange Marsh and Vange Wick for the next hour though never settled anywhere for more than about 10-15 minutes.

From a single adult about 2 weeks ago a second adult join it followed a week later by a juvenile. How many will this small flock increase to? The birds were always distant, mid way across the marsh, with these images being heavy crops from low light images
