Not exactly local but close enough. This great female Red-footed Falcon was at Fishers Green, Lee Valley near Waltham Abbey Essex. I caught up with this bird, and 5+ Hobbies. I didn't realise it at the time but it was my first UK Red-foot for 13 years.

A steady increase has been noted in recent years of local Buzzards with several sites now having sightings of multiple birds, this is one of two here early afternoon.
