High Island, Texas - April 2008
Vireos
<< Back to Passerine Index

Not especially common during my trip, they were apparently commoner after I left, White-eyed Vireos were found around High Island and at Sabine Woods. this bird was from the photo blind at Boy Scout Wood.

A little more abundant than White-eyed Vireo the Blue-headed Vireo made more visits and longer visits to the drips at the Boy Scout Wood photo blind.

Uncommon, Warbling Vireo's were only seen on a few days with only one or two visiting the photo blind. A plain but attractive species.
