Least Sandpipers were found on the beach at Bolivar Flats though for real point blank views, from the car, the birds at the Oilfields were hard to beat.

Some flooded fields about ten minutes east of Winnie right next to the highway held many many waders, including about 200+ Pectoral Sandpipers. This is one of the few digiscoping efforts during the trip though I don't know why I bothered as many of the birds at this site were only a few metres away any way. The bird below is non digiscoped.

This Spotted Sandpiper at Anahuac was the only one of the trip.
