Managed to get this bird onto my Scillies list on its last day. It was a difficult bird to photograph.

Baird's Sandpiper, Observatory, Fair Isle, 24th September 2011
This bird was found shortly before our arrival and was only the fourth to be recorded on the island. It lingered for a couple of hours only. More images of this bird here
